No NBAF in Kansas

North Carolina politician says no

Posted by Dale on August 11, 2008

North Carolina representative Brad Miller has gone on the record in opposition to the NBAF being located in North Carolina. This is quite a contrast to the Kansas delegation, many of whom appeared at the public hearings in Manhattan to voice their unequivocal support. Miller’s opposition seems to reflect simple common sense. As one source noted “Miller said he can’t support a project opposed by local elected officials.” Clearly, the fierce local opposition in Butner is having an effect.

We need to let our elected officials know our views, too.
